Be Prepared For A Roadside Emergency With These Five Items

Nobody wants to be caught in a roadside emergency, but sometimes the unexpected happens. To make sure you’re prepared in case of an emergency, keep these five items in your car at all times.

A Spare Tire

A tire blowing out can be easily remedied if you carry a spare. Keep a jack and tire iron handy too, or else you’ll just be toting around a useless tire.

Jumper Cables

If you’ve ever left your lights on, you know how handy a set of jumper cables can be. It’s also nice to have when someone needs a jump and you can be there to save the day.

A First Aid Kit

Keep a fully stocked first aid kit in your car to treat minor injuries. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t call for help if you’ve been in an accident, but it you’re out at an event and someone gets hurt, you’ll be ready with a Band-Aid and some ointment.

Extra Blankets and Clothing

The temperature drops at night even in the warmest climates. Having extra blankets and clothing is a smart idea to keep warm until you’re waiting for help to arrive.

A Flashlight and Extra Batteries

A flashlight is good to have so you don’t use all your cellphone’s power trying to see and having extra batteries is useful for jumping your car or keeping your phone charged so you can call for help.

Keep these items in your car and you’ll be ready in case the unexpected happens. You can get all these items just about anywhere. For more information about important items like battery accessories in San Diego, visit this website.
